I love this. I've had a similar idea for ages, to connect my house to our relatives' houses to turn a big happy family home.
I want this in Washington DC around the Washington memorial. 5 foot tall portal to another one in the state capitol.
One to each state capital? That sounds cool.
Just something symbolic to unite people. See how big the country is.
A high speed railway between all the states would have been nicer, but a portal seems like something that could happen in my lifetime.
