Trump also assured Daniels that he and Melania didn't “even sleep in the same room," she testified

After meeting the future president of the United States at a golf tournament in 2006, adult film star Stormy Daniels testified Tuesday that Donald Trump's personal bodyguard asked if she would like to have dinner with the once-and-future Republican nominee.

"No, with an expletive in front," Daniels said she told the aide in response, per NBC News. But she reconsidered after meeting with her publicist, she said, recalling their words: "If nothing else, you'll get a great story" and "what's the worst that could happen?"

But, according to Daniels, dinner never happened. When she got to Trump's hotel room, she found him in pajamas -- he later changed -- and eager to discuss her work in the adult film industry, where she had risen from performer to director, and whether she had ever contracted and STD ("I've never tested positive for anything," Daniels said).

Tbh, politicians like this are a liability for national security. Why do so many in policing circles (fbi etc.) support this kind of person? Their stated motivations are completely at odds with actions, it’s mind boggling.

It's because their stated motivations are different than their actual motivations.

B’cos deeply held personal prejudices will always come first. When they see Trump, or any other scumbag politician, has the same prejudices as them, they see a kindred spirit.

I wonder how his wife feels about all of this. I get that money takes care of things like that but since he's a broke bitch, how long until she leaves his ass?

She'll make bank off the book deal.

Cheating on your pregnant wife, while paying for sex, with a porn star, while pretending you're having sex with your daughter... And then selling bibles.

"Christianity" huh?

Sweet home Alabama

He's an "imperfect vessel", but God uses imperfect vessels. That's what I've heard from Christian Trump supporters.

And it's hard to argue with. He's done a lot for them. He got Roe v. Wade overturned!

"good christian" - mouth-breathers

Honestly surprised his lawyers didn't shut down most of the parts of her testimony that are getting the most media coverage. Stuff like him saying she reminded him of his daughter, him not using a condom, etc are embarrassing for Trump and hopefully cost him votes but are mostly not related to what he was actually charged with.

Anyone who is still a trump supporter is either too deluded to believe anything negative about him, or just doesn't give a shit.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 months ago (1 children)

It's a trial, not an election. Whether or not you support him and whether or not he's guilty of falsifying business records are two different questions.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 months ago

I'm referring to whether or not this will cost him votes.

Sadly I think most trump supporters are in it for the long haul at this point.

It’s not a big deal, he went on television to say he wanted to have sex with his daughter

This lady is actually pretty classy

I wouldn't want to sleep in the same zipcode as that choad.

I fear whatever coke induced madness that would come from Freud if he exposed to Trump.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 months ago

[off topic]

Look up "The 7% Solution." Novel and movie about Sigmund Freud's efforts to help Sherlock Holmes overcome his cocaine addiction

I really feel Melania gets a big payout if trump is proven to have cheated on her in court. He only seems concerned in denying the affair, not the actual matter at hand. Maybe this breaks her prenup, and she can divorce him now.

By the way, of you ever get offered a deal where you get a fortune if trump is proven to do something stupid in court, you sign that thing.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 4 months ago (1 children)

He only seems concerned in denying the affair,

Because of politics, he wants people to believe it’s about that

[–] [email protected] 5 points 4 months ago

Exactly. My concern is the lurid and sexual details will only serve to undermine the seriousness of the law he broke. As long as these gross but legal details are making headlines, the less coverage his actual crime gets, which his team will gladly accept.

Trump was married twice before and has long been rumored to have had many affairs. Melania knew what she was getting into and didn't care because of money. And as dumb as Trump is, I'm sure even he is smart enough to realize that his prenup should protect his ability to keep on with his sexual misconduct.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 4 months ago

I don't think Melania cares. If she did. she would have sued him long ago. She got what she wanted out of Trump in other ways and is still getting it.
