Landlord greed is criminal, especially when there is a housing shortage. This protest should be as big as that "No Kings" once they had down south recently.

Meanwhile the housing minister says prices shouldn't fall. Which of course means they dont want supply of multifamily homes to increase enough for prices to fall.
Immigration is also still well above housing completions so why would prices fall?
That's cause as of June 2024, 40% of MPs had invested in real estate These fucks only care about keep prices high to benefit themselves.
Exactly - they're running contradictory policies where they want "affordable housing" while simultanously keeping prices high and maintaining record immigration levels that outpace construction.
Protesters held a giant coackroach at a rally Saturday calling on the city to provide more affordable housing and speaking out against demovictions.
