I'm close to finishing my first exploration of Ginger Island. Trying to decide whether to pay the parrot for the last few Golden Walnuts, or look them up in the Wiki, or whether there's realistically any chance I'll ever find them on my own. (I am bad at deciphering in-game hints, so probably no. Have already looked up a few things I couldn't figure out; so what's a few more?)

I haven't played since COVID but stopped around year 2 when I finished the community center. I always meant to go back and do a bad/Joja(I think that's the evil company name? Idr) run but I haven't been inspired at all to play.
If you haven't played since COVID I think you may have missed the ginger island update, which added a whole new region/post game content. Plus 1.6 has come out which added more.
May be worth picking it up again.
Is that the island with the golden coconut(walnut?) collectibles? I think I got through collecting like half of them and then gave up.
Yeah, that's ginger island. There is a bit more on the island, but I do think it was pretty much complete when it released.
I quit every character in year 3
it's so stressful trying to get the community center done in the 1st year. I'm constantly frustrated lol. Finally everything settles down in year 3 and I lose all interest
I'm very similar. In the beginning, there's so many things I want to do and unlock, but eventually you get to the point where you're skills are maxed and you're just going through the motions to collect the cash that you don't really need.
I have one farm that's in year 4 or 5, but thats mostly because I use that one to learn the new updates, so I take a little more time with it.
