Oops, I forgot to forget to pay and paid. Sorry.

That's gotta be on purpose. Like one of those signs you see littering the walls of a BBQ shop

Why do people seem to forget we read left to right, top to bottom 🤦‍♂️

Does anyone read bottom to top? I don't think I've ever heard of a language like that.

Im not trying to come across as snarky I'm genuinely asking because that seems to be the main problem with this one.

EDIT: From what I can find there are in fact a few languages written bottom up but they are not common at all and it looks like there are less than 100000 current speakers even if you added them all together.

Is there a country, West or otherwise, that reads English a different way? Since it's written in English.

There are plenty of Arabs/Hebrews/Persians/Pakistani/Japanese/Chinese/Korean who learn English later in life, but don't necessarily shake off the spoken or written syntax of their native tongue.

Ask any German about the horrors of Denglish brought over by the English

Police: “Why did you try to leave without paying?”

“I do as the arrow commands.”

I do as the arrow commands

I didn't see the community this was in at first and genuinely thought this was meant to encourage shoplifting. (Before you leave, just "forget to pay", and do not STOP!!! under any circumstances, even when they are yelling at you)

It's still bottom-up text.

Leave you before pay to forget not do stop.

That's deeper than expected. And sad.
