I mean the number plate is visible in the video, that's easily solved of they want. It's also clearly an attempt to cause bodily harm in the least...
It's also siding to see how little coverage this got. Even in the linked article there's less about this incident and more about how an Israeli flag got burned
Not much of a surprise from Western media. If I recall correctly Dutch media was going in propaganda overdrive when Maccabi attacked some Dutch people, claiming that the Maccabi attackers were actually the victims. And that they were undergoing a pogrom.
The Maccabi affair was more nuanced, I'd say. There were politicians that spun it as a Jew hunt, but quite soon it became apparent that the hooligans were actively provoking and taking iyn fights themselves.
This incident is weirder, it barely gets coverage. I tried posting it in the Dutch Reddit sub but didn't get a single upvote
It was actually Reuters which wrongly captioned a video from a Dutch journalist named Annet De Graaf. All Dutch media verbatinm copied the Reuters line without doing any fact checking.
The Dutch journalist who made the video contacted all the newspapers but they refused to correct the caption for more than a day. The corrections came as a subtext after the damage was done and were not put on the front page.
It was very similar to the October 7 beheaded babies and rape hoaxes. Israel gave the narrative to the major newspapers and all international mainstream media copied it verbatim without doing any fact checking whatsoever. Journalists these days are a massive joke.
