Look how quick they go from

where is our rebellion? to how DARE you insult Pelosi and Biden, AOC is the bravest person ever

My fav is the dipshit you said Talib would have told people not to vote and then Palpatine gets elected......like mother fucker Palpatine was supported by ALL of these same people, Mon, Bail, Padme. They elected him, not some MAGA folks. That and voting wouldn't work after the war began, it was already too late, that's why Bail looks all sad at the end of AOTC.

These people think they have reached enlightenment because they watched a smart show talk about antifascism in a fictional context, and yet will call Hamas evil, condemn Cuba, and consider the limit of resistance to be a march. Like they will see Saw and be like "yeah violence is necessary, why are people not like this irl?" and then freak the fuck out when victims of a holocaust shoot back

The limits of their thinking begin and end with orange man bad. This is why I see little radicalization utility in media like this. It doesn't matter how good it is, fiction is just ingested, modified to fit their existing politics, and then regurgitated. if you show them something, it needs to be at least set IRL and historical setting. Westerners cannot do subtext or they see subtext existing and pat themselves on the back and don't internalize it.

It’s actually impressive how strong of a grip liberalism has on people to the pint that even AES countries suffer from it to some degree. They’re so convinced of their intelligence and belief in the systems, ignoring or dismissing any alternative given to them. It’s incredibly frustrating.

Society if every work of fiction ended with the main character looking directly at the camera and explaining the message

Remembering how in the last of us some people say they live in a communist town, and it’s literally a fascist Zionist enclave. I suspect that even if movies and TV shows and books had characters turning to the camera and saying “communism is good,” liberals would say that “communism” here means supporting your local police department.

They have class interests, those cannot be overridden unless they change class

~~try using a master seal on them~~

I’ll never forget seeing Avatar Way Of Water with my in-laws and they are absolutely moved by the emotions of the movie. Then the next day I’m explaining why California may have opposed water desalination plants to because it kills a lot of fish and they instantly reply “fuck the fish”. I’m sorry but good slop is still slop and it doesn’t reach the average burgerlander in a meaningful way.

Libs really think that anyone in the american senate is funding networks of revolutionaries inside the us?

[–] [email protected] 23 points 1 day ago (1 children)

No but they think they would even want to. They really cannot accept that democrats are the empire to. As I like to say to this shit "oh so you just don't consider Iraqi's to be people? ok good to know"

it needs to be at least set IRL and historical setting.

These same motherfuckers will watch Judas and the Black Messiah only to come to the conclusion "Well that was the old FBI and the BPP were terrorists."

If they were capable of supporting Actually Existing Resistance, they wouldn't be libs.

Remember when a bunch of libs watched that and wrote a petition to rename one of the FBI buildings that's named after Hoover? Like yeah let's honor Hampton by naming a building used for training the people that killed him and will continue to churn out more like them, by sanitizing the name of the torture schools

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Oh God I forgot about that. It happened around the time the FBI was posting about remembering Hampton, too, or some or nonsense? My memory is a bit fuzzy.

Of course its MLK. That man is spinning in his grave of how his name is debased by the mouth of libs. If only they could cherish still living black man as much as they do the one they killed.
