These people think they have reached enlightenment because they watched a smart show talk about antifascism in a fictional context, and yet will call Hamas evil, condemn Cuba, and consider the limit of resistance to be a march. The limits of their thinking begin and end with orange man bad. This is why I see little radicalization utility in media like this. It doesn't matter how good it is, fiction is just ingested, modified to fit their existing politics, and then regurgitated. if you show them something, it needs to be at least set IRL and historical setting. Westerners cannot do subtext or they see subtext existing and pat themselves on the back and don't internalize it.
