Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

Hour for hour, there’s no better way to warm the planet than to fly in a plane.
Hour for hour is a bad metric. Bicycling is going to win hands down, but that's not going to be my first answer when I need to travel 500 km. Kilogram-kilometer is far more reasonable, especially if coupled with asking the question of whether that kilogram needs to be moved that kilometer.
You know what business travelers do? They spend lots of money on hotels and food and entertainment.
I told my work that I will not be travelling to the US under any circumstances until there's no risk of me being detained in an ICE prison.
Realistically I will not be travelling there for any reason for years to decades at this point. America as a country needs to go fuck itself for a while so it can really learn the lesson of how productive that is.

I really hate my country and wish it nothing but the worst, but I do feel bad for some people here. A lot are irredeemable assholes but there are some genuinely good people here who don’t deserve what’s happening.
