We're expected to continue working when it's 90 F and 100% humidity indoors. Dude our paper is so soggy I punch holes in it when I try to write. I am straight up not having a good time.

Also our managers didn't even come in today. What even is capitalism

Update: everyone went into the conference room and we're chilling with snacks and refusing to go back into the main building until the HVAC tech gets out here

Small wins I guess

Nice, hope the snacks suit you well

We're at the point they don't even care when the customers that can sue them get fucking KTFO.

When I was in undergrad I had a professor constantly grimly joke that OSHA was just a recommendation, that if they could they'd make workers roast inside the heat of the core of the sun.

I didn't even have to work in that kind of wetbulb at the bug farm. Highest it ever got was 88° and 90% humidity- but I was 20 feet from an external door where I could step outside anytime for cooler air. And eventually I ended up just turning the humidifier off during my shift because...

You are in a situation where the brain will start to think less clearly. You literally can't work in that for more than half an hour at a time, even someone who is heat-tolerant will be much slower and make all kinds of mistakes.
