Haven’t tried this yet, but will look for it in Germany for sure. Also the hedgehog presentation is very amusing:)

Mett is bloody awesome, and the one thing I truly miss ever since leaving the country and its miserable people behind 19 years ago. But every time I come to visit, I gotta get a proper Mettbrötchen.

Make sure you get it directly from a butcher shop early morning, and don't wait. It's not exactly known for holding up long.

I'd never use Maggi on my Mett, but to each their own. Personally I'm keeping it simple with just salt and pepper (extremely fine ground white pepper), and of course finely chopped onions. Red ones preferred. If I'm feeling frisky, I might add capres.

Me neither. Yet, there are people who eat their breakfast egg with Maggi too. So each on their own.

Personally, I stay with salt pepper and onions too.

I live in Germany and my God, they really need to lighten up. They don't realise how good they have it, and the only reason it's going downhill is that they keep voting for parties that want to make things worse.

I wouldn't know what to vote for, tbh. As a citizen I'm still eligible to vote even from abroad, so I check the party programs and also follow local news regularly, and it's been a steady race to the bottom on all accounts. Initially at least the Greens were a reliable choice, but nowadays they suck as well.

The Greens suck less than the others. Or vote Die Linke for funsies. The AfD and the CDU deserve them as opposition.

Yeah, "suck less than the others" is exactly what I mean with race to the bottom. I shouldn't be forced to vote the lesser evil, but the better option.

Left and Right are equally disqualifying factors for me, I dislike radicalism. Which leaves maybe the SPD, but their candidates are all imbeciles.

So I could vote for Piraten or Die Partei, but let's face it - they have just about as much power as Graue Panther or Centrum.

Next election do a Wahl o mat, just because a party is the "furthest on the spectrum" to the left or right doesn't mean they're radical.

I mean, some "conservatives" (ahem) consider anyone who isn't a right wing lunatic a communist radical.
