I got back to Oblivion's Remaster today and did the entire Dark Brotherhood quest. Or at least i thought i did. What i didn't end up realizing was that what i thought was the end of the quest wasn't the end. I have a whole 3 more ranks left after i kill the Dark brotherhood. When i did my unfinished playthrough when i was way younger i don't think i finished this quest because i'd feel bad killing them (ironic, a killer having a conscious). Anyways, when i was going to that point in the quest, i stopped and thought "Wait, these guys are all killers" and i felt less bad. Especially after a line from one of the NPCs where he was proud for killing a 6 year old.

In between the Dark Brotherhood quests though, i spent time exploring the city. I ended up pulling up a picture of the old version, just to compare them. It's like one of those Before and After ads, it's really trippy to think this is a remaster and not a remake or something.

I've also been getting really into Larping as an assassin. I ended up trying to hide the body. Turns out there's not really any good places to hid bodies in oblivion. So i'm hoping they'll think he just passed out on the bench until they check.

For another quest, I ended up having to start the Pirate assassination quest over because i fell victim to the classic bethesda and got stuck in between a Beam and Railing. I can't really say i was mad. The last save was right before and the mission isn't very hard on the remaster. It did get a good laugh out of me to see my character stuck.

The house party mission was also a lot of fun. I ended up hiding up stairs for the first guy, stabbed him. Went after another person with a bow from the corner and then did a 90 degree turn and took out someone before they saw me as they were going up the stairs. The last two were huddled on the stairs together back to back so i had to wait but i ended up picking them both off with the bow too.

all of the guild questlines in oblivion are so fun, particularly the stealthy ones Dark Brotherhood and Thieves.

The Thieves guild and Dark Brotherhood are some of my favorites. I just played the Dark Brotherhood to completion today for the first time, and i really liked that ending

Yes the remake is looking amazing loving the YT content. Have fun with a classic.

My cousin just did this house party mission. I was like "man, you're gonna love this mission. The dialogue is-" and I look at his fucken stream and he instantly just starts shooting people, never talks to anyone to hear the dialogue, and finishes the whole thing in 5 minutes without ever interacting with someone unless it was to kill them.

I wanted the bonus so i did the bonus objective, but i did the exact same thing lol. I talked to the first lady that forces you into dialog and that was it

This whole game is really beautiful. It's taken the Graphics and Amped them up, while still being really faithful imo
