I rewatched this somewhat recently with a friend who had never seen it. It's okay? The special effects and fight scenes are cool and that's the main reason to go see a star wars movie. Definitely better than the other prequel movies.
ROTS is actually the best prequel.
What the fuck is he smoking.
I'll admit when it came out I couldn't appreciate it as much, but it's gotten better every time I've watched it.

I'm on team phantom menace but I thought I was alone on that one. There are actually things I can enjoy watching in phantom menace. Every scene in rots makes me cringe so bad
Phantom has podrace which is good and duel of the fates which is peak.
Rots has the absolutely cracked opening sequence (which is pretty fucking fun), the sicko mode emperor stuff (DO IT), great lightsaber action, and also a pretty great depiction of a real dumbass manchild
I never had to, whether or not he did this. In fact, I never watched it the first time.
