cute is nice. the hue of the color is not my fav but the execution of coloring is done very well. vibrant and rich

[–] [email protected] 2 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

the cut is cool, the colour is giving me the adoring fan vibes.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 5 hours ago

it's hard to tell with the mask

[–] [email protected] 3 points 7 hours ago (2 children)

I think it looks great, just make sure to keep it short like that otherwise you might end up developing a parental bond with a defective south african police android

Is that the woman from Die Antwoord?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 5 hours ago

I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:

I dunno, I think I could mulletify it

[–] [email protected] 7 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

That would mollify my mullet-anxiety.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 11 hours ago* (last edited 10 hours ago) (1 children)

Mullets are cool tho, rock that shit. I think ppl call them wolf cuts now.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 9 hours ago* (last edited 9 hours ago) (3 children)

Sadly I can't, my job polices my hair (Your hair is not supposed to be grabable if you're a dude). I have to live vicariously through you getting a mullet.

Do you think they'd let me do a skullet if I said I was nonbinary. Is lying about being nonbinary to circumvent ridiculous gendered rules in the spirit of enbydom or stolen valour. thonk

[–] [email protected] 3 points 7 hours ago

Your hair is not supposed to be grabable if you're a dude

Are you a Roman gladiator grappling for your life?

Which part is confusing you

[–] [email protected] 5 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

It just really sucks about your employer! The logic of male-presenting = short hair is nonsensical, but I understand that it’s not supposed to make sense

[–] [email protected] 4 points 7 hours ago

The worst part imo is that it's supposedly for safety but female presenting people don't need to have short hair. Which implies either that they don't give a shit about women's safety or that the job is more dangerous for male presenting people.

But the pay is good shrug-outta-hecks

[–] [email protected] 6 points 12 hours ago

I like that part of the hair that curls around over your ear. Idk if that's intentional, but it looks nice.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

a slay

im not super into highlighter yellow because it's hard to match outfits with (gonna be the case with any non-neutral hair color), but if you mostly wear black it should look great

and if u just mean the cut itself it looks nice, low maintenance and won't grow out too awkwardly

You don't think it would look too young on someone in their thirties? Or too out of date? I'm in that weird stage where I don't want to look too old and out of touch, but I also don't want to look like I'm trying to be too young and all "hello fellow children".

And yeah just the cut, not the colour. Gonna edit the post so that's clearer.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 hours ago

nah not really. tbh anyone who thinks someone in their 30s is trying too hard to look "young" is gonna think that regardless of your fashion choices

[–] [email protected] 4 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

Lori Petty is in her 60s and she could pull that off.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 10 hours ago* (last edited 10 hours ago) (1 children)

I don't quite want to look 60 yet though... I've still got a few of decades at least before that papyrus-oh-no

[–] [email protected] 3 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

idk what she was doing in the 2000s but i think she's been on some short punk hair the whole time.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 10 hours ago

Nice, she seems cool as hell

[–] [email protected] 8 points 11 hours ago

imo a hairstyle that looks perfect on you never really goes out of style. It might not be cutting edge but it won’t ever look bad

I gave up on working toward example haircuts because my unique combination of hair type, head shape, and cowlicks makes it never work out exactly as I wanted. I try to just follow what my hair is telling me it wants to do, and go from there… easier said than done.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

my mother had a pixie cut into her 50s
i think it'll look fine

[–] [email protected] 4 points 11 hours ago

older women in my family always told me after you have kida / turn thirty the done thing was always shorter cut hair, nothing as trendy as this tho, just a tidbit that sprang to mind
