MODERATORS
He will probably suspend the constitution soon. He will at least make a serious effort to have the entire thing suspended due to "far left radical insurgency" or too many "illegal aliens disrupting the political process".
Idk why he's talking about a 3rd term. I don't think anyone expects him to live out this one. He is very old. 4 years of being a fascist dictator might as well be a decade off of his lifespan. There's no way he'd be physically capable of running again. Being the most vile human being alive is actually very bad for your physical health.
Why suspend it when you can just ignore it?
Look a fascism lite in Russia or Turkey -- they still pretend to have democracy and rule of law -- that's the power of pretending.

They're just going to put his name on the ballot and run it through his hand picked judges. If we just go along with it, Elon will use Star Link to clean up the votes so he wins. Then the scotus will allow because he can't get impeached and the Senate won't convict.
Only solution is Luigi.
And he's probably getting one. Unless he dies.
At the rate Trump's dismantling the Constitution, who really thinks there'll be elections in 2028?
Of course there will be elections. Very few dictatorship skip elections outright nowadays.

So what’s being passed through the house that he keeps trying to distract us from? Is this to make us look away from social security while they carve it up? He always makes these stupid outrageous statements when he is trying to distract from something sinister happening elsewhere.
That threat should be enough for anyone...

Remember when Obama was asked if he could run for a third, and he said he couldn't because it's not allowed. Imagine a President who respects the law, the Constitution, and the will of the people via Congress. Irony is that it was Republicans who put in place the term limits, so Trump is even against his party's previous mandate.

Yeah I know people are pissed. So I guess I’m watching for when we mount a resistance. I would be a shot leader for it, and I must admit, I’m afraid, I’m afraid of what it will mean, but still somewhat ready to join.
When the rest of us pacifist lefties, and i am also including you the person I'm replying to, buys a gun. So far, the Republicans overwhelmingly own more guns and train more often and would wipe us all out from the comfort of their diabetic mobility scooters.
