I hope they will do the same for the Fairphone 5. Being able to run Linux on it would be amazing. It would blow the librem5 and pretty much any other Linux phone out of the water.

Stock yes, but as I understand with the patches toward the Linux kernel it will come with high compatibility for Linux distros from the get go.

I really wish Fairphone would produce a phone that doesn’t come preconfigured with Google malware baked in.

I'd be OK with the option to switch easily. Or maybe dual boot.
