Doing great ๐Ÿ˜†

So far doing really good, also while I know it is some kind of bubble I am in now, I really enjoy not seeing posts from certain subreddits popping up in my feed anymore.

Hi, thx for warm welcome, had a harder moment learning multi-server architecture of Lemmy, now I'm fine. Still did not abandoned the other portal (actively trying to get banned there by being a rebel tho).

How bout You? how's Your day? :)

Doing a bit more mildly optimistic. Lemmy has great potential!

Great experience, Voyager is a great app and Lemmy feels kinda like Reddit in the good old days. Still have to check Reddit threads every now and then through search results while looking for info, though. Hopefully we can get more content going, but I guess thatโ€™s up to us users :)

Honestly, I need to get used to all of it, i'm also used to fast paced information and now I see more quality posts but just a lot less of it. I think it might actually be beneficial for my mental health in the long run though!

Bienvenue cher compatriote

[โ€“] flightyhobler@lemm.ee 3 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Still confused. My app connects me to a single one of the two instances I joined and I managed to get myself in a position where I get separate notifications from separate posts on those instances. So I've been going back and forth between my app and Firefox. Still a bit confused....

You should only have one account. The instance you choose is only responsible to store your data, you will still be able to view all communities on all instances

Interesting, maybe try posting about the issue on !voyagerapp@lemmy.world , that community is quite active

I got Boost for ~~Reddit~~ Lemmy back. The world is beautiful again!

Now to find communities that I like... I'm a bit lost but I'll settle soon enough.

Still not sure about the best Android App, I've tried Interstellar, what seemed kind of unfinished. Now I have Voyager, what seems better so far.

Furthermore I miss some Sub..Lemmis? like r/bida (am i the asshole), r/Staiy, r/LeopardsAteMyFace .

We just call them communities, or comms. Some people suggested "lemmings" but it didn't really catch on.

[โ€“] RambaZamba@feddit.org 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Thx! Oh sad ๐Ÿ˜„ Lemmings is sweet

[โ€“] comfy@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Actually I think 'lemmings' was suggested as a demonym (like 'redditors') but I think others felt it was an insult, suggesting we would follow each other off a cliff ๐Ÿ˜„

Joined yesterday, I'm loving the gestures of the voyager app

[โ€“] Mubelotix@jlai.lu 6 points 2 months ago
