I used to have this one hanging on the wall wherever I was living, for a while. I don't know what happened to it, but it's nice to see again.

Has anything changed since it was originally made? Any new discoveries? Or is it basically still accurate?

Exactly! Any and all news on the radio and local tv still call it the Gulf of Mexico and just for context, I like about half an hour from its shore.

I found a torrent of hundreds of these Nat Geo maps. Happy to share if you want it. As for the oceanography, no idea! Love the old style though.

Oh man I’d definitely be interested. My grandparents had a trove of Nat Geos back in the day. Sadly they and most of the maps are now long gone.
