9. No link shorteners.

Aside though, probably the most fascinating thing about English is that it is a language in constant change. Many other languages don’t change at the rapidity of English. Some, like German, often just adapt the English word for a new thing as a loan word with their characters.

I went to work yesterday, grabbed lunch, stopped on the way home to gas up and do a little shopping, stopped at the pharmacy, got home, opened this app and then found out there was a protest. I honestly had no clue otherwise I could have planned better
Agreed. It's a foreign concept to me of like a "general boycott". I think a corporate boycott might be better. Moreover boycotts aren't usually a single day.

Na, part of being a free country means you should be able to speak whatever language you want and follow whatever religion you wish. Slowly have to squeeze every freedom out of America.
I've never fact checked this but IIRC my highschool civics teacher said something like the US made a point not to have an official language
