I realize this is almost exactly what you said OP but I had to get it out there. I used to like arguing with them too. During the Reddit migration the mods were too busy to ban me but now things are a lot stricter.
Same. I even brought receipts. But I stopped subbing to most ml communities and stopped seeing them. It's probably for the best though, since I wasted a lot of time on that, but I like to think others benefited from reading the exchange.
