I don't think making him a martyr would be a good idea. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't shed a tear if he passed with the worst agony I can imagine. But making him a martyr would make his agenda immortal.
Martyrs tend to be symbols to a cause. Trump and maga don't have much ideology it's more a cult of personality. Those tend to go away when the central figure dies.
I understand what you mean. But think of Hitler. Obviously his agenda did not die with him. But imagine all the numbnuts if he was assasinated on the peak of his power.

I disagree. The people who want to make him a Martyr will make him a Martyr no matter what. The people who know what he has done will understand that him being killed doesn't make any of that better.
See the way all the other Fascists in the world before him were handled.

It'll never succeed and to be honest, killing the Orange Jackass now world be counter productive. He's the head of a cult and one of the most important lessons of Christianity is to never make martyrsb out of cult leaders.
The best thing that could happen is he dies or is otherwise incapacitated by a stroke or heart attack. Then he MAGA will year itself apart trying to consolidate around over if several new leaders who lack the particular kind of charisma Trump possessed. Vance will be a puppet President that will seesaw between whichever faction is ascendant at any particular point, or else stick to one faction that has the most leverage.
For approximately 9.5 years now the liberal solution to trump- like yours- is to do nothing. Your way is not working.

I dunno, I think the idea of President Vance or President Johnson even don’t really seem like upgrades.
One thing trump is really good at is playing people off each other. The man has a learning disability and is under-educated, but only a fool denies his savvy. He accepted vance knowing he couldn’t hold a coalition of the stupid and greedy, and if trump falls, they all fall to infighting unless there’s a dark horse I’m not seeing.
Their politics are just as evil, but they're not capable of being cult leaders. That alone is an improvement.
