A community for some conservative points of view. You can comment but not post articles, because there are bad-faith posters who want to post horrible content just to get people in trouble.

The daily Mail is not a credible source
Then feel free to start your own community and post from the sources you find credible. I like the Daily Mail.
Whether or not you like it is irrelevant to its credibility and accuracy. I like the lord of the rings. That doesn't mean it's a credible source of history.
Today I learned that wikipedia doesn't allow it as a source.

And just because you don't like it, doesn't mean they get everything wrong. They are one of the largest publications in the world, and they're not going away anytime soon.
I read it every day and I like it. All of it. I've forwarded tips to them for stories they can write. I've even been interviewed by them and have shown up in articles there. I have a great relationship with them.
My community. My sources. If you don't like, feel free to start your own community and post from your fav sources. :)
I didn't say they get everything wrong. They get enough wrong that they are not trustworthy. It's not about me just not liking it. The fact that you like it remains irrelevant to the larger questions of accuracy and trustworthiness. Their size and age are also irrelevant. This isn't just a matter of opinion like "do you prefer vanilla or strawberry ice cream".
You are doing yourself a disservice by reading disinformation that appeals to your feelings.
You can do what you like on your community, but what you're doing is hurting yourself. When you read bad sources and gain inaccurate information, and then act on that, you're more likely to make poor decisions.
Irrelevant to you. I like them and I will never ever stop posting from them.
Fun fact though: everytime I see someone advocating violence against Trump or CEO's (you sicko Luigi fans) here on Lemmy, I forward it to them, and the FBI. So it'll be fun seeing if they write an article about how pro-violence and pro-murder Lemmy is. The FBI actually called me after I gave them a tip, and then I let the Daily Mail know that the FBI is watching Lemmy for alt-left extremism.
I've had a few back-and-forths with the Daily Mail about it and I told the reporter how to actually navigate Lemmy, so we'll see what happens.
Just doing my part in making sure they have accurate information. Maybe we'll be able to see how much "disinformation" gets written about the goings-ons at Lemmy. Lemmy is so small and irrelevant, I doubt if any articles will come from it, but at least I did my part.
Wouldn't it be cool tho if they did an undercover thing on Lemmy? :)
