I believe that people have the capability of committing wrong-doings, even atrocities, only to come around later and realize that they were in the wrong and can attempt to make up for it in life.

Do I believe that Elon Musk has redeemed himself? No. I do believe he has the capability to do so though, eventually. Do I believe that he should receive punishment for his wrongdoings? Yes. Same for Trump.

In regards to the statement about Dems siding with Nazis, don't use labels to throw everyone under the same blanket and judge them all equally harshly. Everyone is an individual, and their actions should be judged as such. If there's a Democrat that acted in such a way, by all means call them out and we'll all hate on them together.

I will judge anyone who sides with nazis harshly. Minimizing it like you're doing just gives others cover to also side with nazis.

I'm not minimizing anything. Please do judge the individuals harshly. Just don't throw others under the same judgement due to belonging to the same label, i.e. Dems. Not sure how that message didn't go through last comment. Your rage is clouding reason.

Just don’t throw others under the same judgement due to belonging to the same label, i.e. Dems.

For the last quarter of the biden administration, I saw the establishment wing of the democratic party openly and happily violate US law in order to play arms dealer for netanyahu's genocide.

Nazis like elon must be opposed, democrats just spent a solid year demonstrating that they will absolutely go along with the worst of humanity's every whim if it means thy get campaign donations. They must not do that with nazis in an environment in which we already have one nazi party. I will make no excuses for them and will scream abuse at their worthless nazi asses until my lungs no longer function.

Collaborationism must not be allowed to spread.

Seems we have moved on from discussing the article. Agreed that the Dems handled the Israel/Palestine issue very poorly, and that's an understatement, though specifically Biden and Harris - They should have been proper leaders against the atrocities that occurred, and others that didn't stand up to make an anti-Israel stance showed their true colors and shouldn't be allowed back into office.

Back on topic though, the entire Dem party is not kissing Elon's ass. There was one in the article that did, but that's it.

If you wish to make some change, you'll need to learn how to stay on topic and not let your anger take over so easily. Others in the world won't engage with you otherwise, and you'll end up only preaching to the choir. At least you'll be on the right side of history, so long as the history books are written accurately.

The article is just the latest in a pattern of rightward movement by the party. A pattern that includes selling weapons for genocide.

There were two by my count, plus the founder of centrist democrats' anti-progressive "welcomefest" get together

It should be zero. It's shameful that none of the people who are jumping at the chance to work with a nazi weren't immediately censured or kicked out of the party. But it's not like they're someone truly nefarious like David Hogg.
