anything to distract from the fact that the only group who overwhelmingly support trump are whites lol
are you sure about Latinos? Not that I think there's anything to be gained by examining it but I thought Latin Americans are overwhelmingly conservative and have always voted red to try and be "the good ones"
I'd say we're split 50-50. Our culture is both surprisingly liberal but only religiously conservative in some areas. Generally, if they're not religious, Latin Americans don't give a damn how you lead your life. You could be a prostitute in broad daylight and people will notice but nobody bats an eye*. Idk what happens to those who cross the border and later believe themselves special and reformed.
It's not a coincidence to say that the worst enemy of Latinos is other Latinos outside of our home countries. I've felt that hatred, and it's unequivocally conservative.
iirc the only non-white group who voted more for trump than harris were Latino men, but even that was by a slight margin
white men and women, meanwhile, voted overwhelmingly for trump
interesting. I retract my first assumption then. I guess my only exposure to Hispanics in my with was only with men and that does make blind spots. I could look it up but just if you know, do women vote in an overwhelming way or do they turn up to vote at all?
They are and often do. Tho as far as conservative Hispanics go its more about religion than nationalism, so to evaluate where they stand its more about how Catholics vote (who are often more politically diverse than the evangelical core)
The previous Pope was the first from Latin America (Argentina), if that gives you any indication.
And now another one.
White people, by far. White uneducated people by even farther.
We pick on Latinos and women because they voted for him a lot AND will suffer the most because of it.
oh for sure, I'm not comparing their relative voter footprint to ours. like I said, it's not a useful line of questioning but there just are demographics that are into the cult for cultural reasons
