She was okay until she heard a person, then hid just her head under the carrier. Overall seemed to go pretty well, but maybe she's happier just stating out a window

I wouldn’t leap to conclusions. My cats first time was overstimulating. If it’s new, it’s a lot to take in. Give the lady more time and exposure. Bring toys. Play if they engage. String. Something familiar.
