Just wanna jump in here. Its actually something a lot of people dont realize since we are so used to how the US operates but pretty much no nation except America has the ability to invade another nation that isnt relatively nearby. Even European troops when they do it are getting logistical support from the US.
That includes China. Not only is it very expensive to do, but you need really specific equipment that just isnt very useful unless your invading places all the time.
Like yeah Chinas an industrial powerhouse and if they had 6 months to a year they could attempt it, but it would be a massive undertaking. Im talking like full national mobilization for the war effort.
Now that i think about it a ground invasion where they get Pakistan and Iran to let them through, just conquer Iraq and Jordan, and build brand new railways from China all the way to Israel would probably be cheaper and more effective than a naval invasion lol.
Theres a reason the US spends so much money on its military and still loses wars to much smaller nations. Invading shit that's really far away is super hard to pull off.
I didn't think about it before but imagine if the structure of the new Palestinian government that is created is a carbon copy of China's structure? I wonder what this "deal" really is on the formation of the new gov and its elections. If China are the ones advising on it then I would expect Chinese advisors to construct something that mirrors the Chinese system.
"Study logistics etc. etc." stays winning.
