Context: Post says "flixbus in Belgium" (flixbus is a bus company). Video is of people running towards a moving flixbus and grabbing luggage from it. Very confusing and context free video. Who are these people? Why are they doing this?
This is the least racist thread on the post. Everything else is literally just "import third world, become third world" and "Africa deserved colonialism" type comments. Europeans really aren't going to beat the "we make the KKK look like hippies in comparison" allegations. I swear to God, recently I was starting to feel a little more hopeful towards Europeans and thinking that the continent isn't destined for a century of humiliation after they decided to turn towards China instead of the US. This single reddit post grabbed every fiber of optimism in my body and beat it to death in a German camp.

I've never been to Europe. Are the racists just like this online or are they like this in-person, too? In the US, whites are only like this around other whites they trust. They become flustered when they encounter PoC and we're "well-spoken" and other passive-aggressive bullshit backhanded comments.
But even neo-nazis and klansmen know not to be too obvious with their comments in real life, even around other racists.
European racists are smarter and more cynical. I've noticed that they are willing to very racist about Chinese people when surrounded by Indians and are willing to be racist about Indians when surrounded by Chinese. Maybe it's because I'm in a Uni, but these people seem vaguely aware of who hates who on the world stage and take advantage of this.
Also from my observations I definitely think there is a gender factor involved. These people are way more willing to be bigoted in front of men than in front of women. It's why I have 0 desire to date any of these 2 faced shits once I finish transing.
I'm not from Europe, but a multiple unrelated European people I've met, complete strangers, have thought that the best way to introduce yourself is with a racist joke about Gypsies. So yeah, I'd say it's probably just like this over there.
If you ever forget a line from Mein Kampf, just ask a European for their opinion on travelers and Roma to get the quote verbatim.
