i wish i could understand why it's easier to blame politically impotent leftists than the politically powerful parties that have been refusing to implement the equal rights amendment that would provide these sorts of protections.
because they are ignorant.
if every single third party voter in last election voted kamala she still would have lost. it would not have swung a single state.

Because they spent the last year telling those leftists they didn't know how anything work so we had to admit we were wrong and help the super smart and effective liberals.
Same reason chuds are the way they are, because they would have to be able to admit fault to change.
Because shaming leftists feels approachable to them. It might not have a great success rate but it happens sometimes. Getting the democrats to not suck shit would run them headlong into the reality that the party doesn’t give a fuck what their members think or want. That’s a depressing and scary prospect for people who’ve drunk the nationalistic kool-aid of American “democracy,” so they resort to hippie punching as a coping mechanism.
Because correctly realizing that liberals are at fault and have been fascist goons would require the self crit that would also reflect on their continued support from the person (who is also likely a lib) performing it.
And because it is simpler; it's just a slightly more nuanced version of the 'voter fraud' conservatives cry about every time they lose.
