Recalls are not a solution they are a rectification. A solution is proper regulation in food production which neither party is particularly interested in. No one is denying that things have gotten worse. The argument from "same-sidesers" is not that things would be just as bad if Democrats were in power, its that neither party is interested in improving the conditions of the working class. One of them actively seeks to degrade those conditions sure, but pretending that the party which lets them degrade on their own while claiming things are fine is a solution is foolish.

Recalls are a solution though.

Do you not know what rectification means? Recalls correct a wrong, they do not solve them. A solution is something that prevents the wrong from happening in the first place. Recalls do not prevent harm from occurring, they minimize the harm.

Minimizing the harm is correcting the problem though.

Preventing the wrong is important too but recalls are the solution to humans and processes not being infallible.

If am entirely honest with you, regulation isn't even a full solution but I wasn't willing to go further than that here. Idk if you are trolling or just dense but solving societal problems in that manner completely ignores the reasons those problems occur. You can't solve a problem if you never address the cause of that problem. Contamination in our food isn't caused by inevitable intermitant human error. Its caused by severely underpaid and overworked workers managed by a company that will always prioritize profits over human lives. Our food gets contaminated because it is more profitable to run a business that cuts corners and ignores regulation. Its not woopsy daisy accidents because humans are fallible, its just how business is done. So when food is recalled it does not solve the problem that caused people to get hurt. It only minimizes further damage and if anything protects that company from public outrage. The problen with your analysis is that you see every instance of contaminated food as a singular problem rather than part of a larger pattern of behavior enabled not only by our economic system but also by government ineptitude.

Capitalism doesn’t cause all food contaminations sometimes mistakes happen or machines fail and food goes out with something wrong with it not because management is trying to make some extra money.

When food gets recalled it may not solve the initial problem but it sure as hell makes sure no one else is affected by it.
