I haven't played a GTA game since vice city.
Idk I was already tired of the formula way back then.
I'm the same, but for GTA 3.
They've become way more polished games (by exploiting more and more labor) despite the basic formula being the same. You couldn't swim until San Andreas and they didn't even get good at combat mechanics until 4. give a younger person the original Vice City and they'll say it's unplayable. It's like trying to play Morrowind with its tanky controls and random missing mechanics when you're used to Skyrim.
Are they actually good? The combat mechanics still suck in red dead redemption 2, which came out a decade later
