my God man pull it together. You fucking sound like you’re losing it. Why don’t you focus on your own problems at home. Cyber war against who, partisans fight who? Like do you have a strategy in mind or are you just full of panic and trying to insight violence.

Like seriously what country are you from so I can better understand what you’re implying we do

I am Canadian. You continue to not act and I am just as fucked as you. We will mount a resistance though. Many are already economically and many individuals are openly preparing for war. Taking classes, buying guns, training for first aid, joining mutual aid orgs, saving money to fly their kids out of country if they can, when it becomes necessary. I am doing my part at home thank you.

Funny that we can see what's necessary as can the rest of the world but you are blind to it and fight against recognising it for what it is.

As a Canadian the developments that are happening right now make me highly opposed to the gun bans that have been happening. Almost all semi-automatic rifles are banned and it isn't doing a dent to the crime. Licensed Canadian gun owners were never a problem. Canada never had a gun problem even when there was next to no gun control here.

We need community defense and a ready made resistance force, like the home guard in Britain during ww2.

I am a gun owner since I am 16 years old. My parents and grandparents were before me. Everyone I know where I live owns at least one gun. Their parents and grandparents as well. Many even owned semi autos as restricted ownership so they could shoot at the range with their friends. Many never turned in their guns thankfully. They are hidden in attics and closets and under floorboards not in the homes of the purchasers and our own homegrown political fascists will never get them. We're dumb rednecks though. Crazy people.

My kids are all under 12. They all know how to shoot and where the keys to the gun cabinet and ammo box are. One of the ten year olds owns their own .22 cal and hunts with me and grandpa. We trust them to make good decisions because we parent them, trust them and teach them and in return, they do.

Our relationship with guns in Canada is very different to that of our southern neighbors and I agree with you completely. There are people who should not own guns and we need to do our best to ensure that they are not able to get them. But through our complete history at no time has it been warranted to take all the guns away from our citizens or even any of the guns. When government begins that ( hint: it's right now) we need to do our best to not allow it to occur.

Our government plays a game of city politics with guns. They know urban Canadians have been somewhat indoctrinated by American culture and media to be quite against gun ownership and to a certain extent rightfully so. However we need to not compare ourselves to another nation and follow their lead to obtain political points. We have to hold our representatives to a much higher morality than we do at present. They need to represent the people not play scare politics for votes.

Criminals do not register guns. They do not buy them legally. Enforcing bans on citizens for no reason is just a political ploy that we seriously need to confront louder. Some of us have been screaming this and being told were just dumb rednecks. Look at where our country is now and tell me I'm wrong.

IMO, guns are not the cause of violence. After WW2, Americans returning from war weren't shooting up schools, despite having easy access to firepower. It takes a broken mind to murder people without cause.

My hypothesis is that society has been seriously corroded by capitalism, since it steals time and opportunity from people in many different ways. Parents not spending time with their children, appropriately sized homes for families being foreclosed, not being able to afford schooling, and so forth. All of these things are a poison that have built up over time.

I am of the opinion that politicians focus on fighting guns, since those are the final defense against malicious governance. Without them, situations like Blair Mountain couldn't happen, where miners fought the corporations that raped their wives and daughters as a form of debt repayment.

Behind the Bastards, the 2nd Civil War you never heard about

[–] [email protected] 2 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

Okay, so I'm already ahead of you on that entire list. What next? Help others do the same? Okay doing that too? Any other suggestions Canada? Like we hear you bro. We're down here. It's disorienting and you don't know whos on who's side. 70% of the public doesn't even sense anythings wrong. Please we need guidance you let us know what to do next?

Pretty crazy intense battles for personal and societal rights have been won with less than 30% of the population. How many farmers did it take in France again to overthrow undemocratic laws recently?

registered farmers...564,000 Population....around 66 million

But Americans online derided the French farmers for blocking highways, leaving piles of manure and burning tires all around the city center and government buildings. They stuffed the roadways with farm equipment. They dumped offal and shit everywhere and generally made a huge disturbance for a few weeks. They still attack a well known French anarcho communist here repeatedly for going to jail for standing up for his fellow man and call him a "that whatever French guy who went to prison four times" and yet have no earthly idea what an anarcho communist actually is.

The laws were repealed. The fascists pushing for them have since lost their leader to ooops...a possible prison sentence. Missed that one several times america.

Maybe try civil disobedience? Anything would be good.

Haven't I listed so many things for you. You keep asking and then the next day you ask again. Maybe you have a memory problem. You should see a doctor.

Our farmers were protesting 3 days ago. Thanks for the encouragement. Like you said the media supresses our protests so unless you are looking in the right places, or actually protesting, you wouldn't really know how many people are activly organizing and protesting.

Keep going tho I like your fantasy where we are weak and impotent, but also all powerful and ready to attack you. And you are weak, yet strong and prepared. You fucking fascist 😂 Keep telling me how this can't hapen in canada while being the embodiment of fascist rage.

[–] [email protected] -2 points 13 hours ago* (last edited 13 hours ago) (1 children)

You tell me it's impossible because no one is interested in protesting then you say they've been protesting.

Can you make up your mind.

3 days ago? What's wrong with today? Must be a protest holiday.

Not once have I said our country is weak. It's simply not true. More American exceptionalism from you.

Enjoy your day. See you elsewhere later.

Yea we've had 10 million + people showing up to protest across the country. The places we need 100,000 people get 100 people, the places that need 100 people get 100,000 people. We are protesting. Different groups are protesting different things around the clock around the country. It has not hit a critical mass yet. It also doesn't have a unifying voice. We are filled with people like you who would rather alienate potential allies with hostility.

Look in the mirror bro, you are the same breed of violent nationalist you fear. If you were prepared you would not be fearful. If you were strong you would not be begging americans to do more while also claiming we are doing nothing. And yes your words clearly laid out your belief of the core fascist propaganda. The All powerful/ Incredibly idiodic Nation that is an existential threat. And you the All wise/ stong and yet oppressed nation who is victim to our strength idiocy and agression. You got tariffed not bombed.

Now I take back everything I said about defending canada. You have litterally completely changed my mind on risking my life to defend yours. If we roll through canada I'm gonna be one of the people voting to make you a territory not a state. Thanks for helping me with this moral dilemma and thanks for the future resources I gess. Manifested your destiny. I highly encourage you to keep doing what your doing because it's working Ivan
