The companies engaged in tense discussions and eventually reached an agreement that allows the SpaceX and T-Mobile which will debut this summer, to appear seamlessly on newer iPhones.

huh? iOS 8.3 released this. Unless they mean “newer iPhones” is the revision update.. or do they actually mean newer hardware, which is going to be hard to remove? Because, for those who prefer not to use satellite connectivity, iOS 18.3 provides an option to disable this feature. To do so, navigate to Settings > Cellular > Your Carrier and toggle off the Satellite option. If this option isn’t visible, it may indicate that your carrier doesn’t support satellite services or hasn’t enabled them for your plan-which Tmobile is still in Beta testing.
