I'm all for not voting for Biden, but how about people at least wait until the alternative isn't Trump?
edit: So curious about all the amount of downvotes, I can't imagine they are coming from Trump fans. Is that a testament to the amount of people that would still vote Biden even if there were actually decent competition? Or maybe it's a testament to the US love for a one party state or your vote goes to the devil sort of party politics it has devolved to..
If it's not trump then it'll be another republican who will be just as bad. Trump is following republican policy as usual, it doesn't end. Just look at nikki haley. "If we could just beat this bad guy of the week this one time" is an excuse by democrats to never actually pursue progressive policies.
If it was just Republican policy as usual, Mitt Romney would not have been given the cold shoulder he was. I think the most you can claim is that it was the natural progression of where the party was heading to, which I don't disagree with. I'll just mark it as the latter, then, since outcries for ranked voting and more pluralistic forms of European parliamentary representation are even rarer than Bernie supporters.
Mitt Romney was given the cold shoulder for losing. Trump's policies are a direct continuation of Bush's policies except for the Muslim ban (but I'd argue starting two wars in the Middle East is worse).
You mean like Trump has been?
Yeah, not going to get all Nazi grammar about perceived distinctions between saying "natural progression" and "direct continuation". If you don't want to see it even though several major journals have reported on the divisions within Republican ranks that led to the current state, then I'm certainly not going to make you see it.
