Either someone is qualified to fly a plane or not

Exactly.

Or direct air traffic. Or drive a truck. Or operate machinery. Or do accountancy...

If the person is qualified, by definition they can do the job. Whether they're in a wheelchair or 3-ft tall is irrelevant: if their disability prevents them from doing the job, then they're not qualified and they're not even hired to begin with. Otherwise, they're qualified and their disability has nothing to do with their job abilities - and none of your business to boot.

Trump always talks about merit but all I see is an ableist old man who unfairly targets of people based on their looks, sexual preferences and challenges in life that have nothing to do with their ability to perform at work.
