You're telling me democrats couldn't find anyone else that was remotely more charismatic? Normally there is no such thing as bad publicity but she was so damn bad that it was indeed bad publicity.
the dems aren't trying to win, so they're actively looking for the least charismatic people they can find. they're just trying to play the role of a nominally leftist party in the theater of bourgeois democracy
winning actually makes their lives harder because they then have to come up with reasons for not doing anything, instead of just complaining about republicans while letting them do everything they want
It's the result of skipping the primary to go all-in on Biden right up until he shat his pants on national television.
