I mean you show people a piece of shit racist antagonist and they come away with "that guy was bad because he was the bad guy."
They don't dissect the underlying wisdom and take it with them.
The empire is bad because they look evil and shoot lightning. Not because they subverted democracy.
The sith are bad because they kill the people we're attached to. Not because they use fear and anger to control others.
