Just imagine how much better everything will be once Trump no longer has a platform amplifying every inane thing that comes out of his mouth.
Honestly, the media will amplify this jerk because it generates clicks and views, and thus advertising dollars and engagement. It'd be nice if we didn't amplify this jerk here at lemmy, but ... well, I expect the 'I do what I want hur' response any minute now, so here we are. Trump amplified. The BS persists.
Well, I guess if there were any jerks that you don't want to amplify, you could just stop talking about them so much. Don't jerks love attention?!
I know for me personally, I just ignore the jerks and I keep on posting political news to this community because this is a political news community. Thank you! :)
Lol you obviously love attention more than most people here. Thank! :)
If that were actually true, then wouldn’t refraining from responding to me take away that attention? Thank you!
I wish that were true, but we still hear Hillary's opinion on stuff and she lost four years ago. I imagine they'll keep parroting Trump's nonsense as long as it drives clicks. Frankly, I think we'll have to put up with it until they plant his rotten carcass at one of his golf clubs.
Yep!
It'd def be interesting. But I think he's always gonna have a platform--even after he loses, so we should probably prepare ourselves.
Alas, he even owns one of them (Truth Social). But hopefully the wider media will stop reporting so much about him once he fades from importance...
Hell hopefully be in jail. They don't usually allow that.
