Back when I lived in the rust belt, I had a bad habit of giving directions based on things that weren't there anymore and businesses that had long closed as if I was in my 80s instead of my teens.

turn left at the blockbusters, if you see a radio shack, you went too far into the past.

Now I want a Douglas Addams story about time travellers giving directions. even better if it tries to use time travel grammar.
