Lucky, if i lost mine i'd be proper fucked as it's tied into the foot pedal

Combined with the foot pedal is the most common way. This machine is also designed so you don't need to use the foot pedal, so if I lost that I could still use it as it can be run by buttons on the machine (although that means taking a hand off the fabric, so the pedal is easier to use).
