An anti AI person would not have said "nice use of ai". Those people would have said " nice picture but I'd rather you did the ugliest pen and paper drawing yourself than used AI". They NEVER concede a win to AI. I understand your frustration
What is the 'win to AI'? I would rather a pen and paper shitty kindergarten looking drawing than a 'beautiful' AI image, that is a very shallow viewing of the issue. No one disagrees that AI can create "good" looking images.
Ai enables people to express what they want. That's the win. I can't draw this. If I did it would look so ugly I would not post it. So AI was an enabler. That's a win for AI.
I agree, but you said they'd never 'concede a win to AI' as if their argument is that AI looks bad or doesn't get a point across but that's not what the debate is, so that isn't AI 'winning' against the 'anti-AI crowd'.
