If he expect to be exactly the same as reddit thrn he should be fine with mass downvotes
Downvotes don't matter as much here anyways since you can get high quality content by sorting from new and muting some communities + instances. That's not true of reddit's garbage pile.
I'd like a sort by the most up + down votes total so I can see what made someone angry enough to bot or brigade at one time or another
