This would be better with a more accurate projection, like Dymaxion. That black area is so much bigger than it looks here.
Yes! My favorite type of projection.
Also, fun fact: the inventor of the projection, Buckminster Fuller, designed this beauty after the Great Depression and called it the Dymaxion car. 🥴
