So... British Empire... Colonialism... Opium wars...

As a result: Many Asian countries have strict anti-drug laws and also anti-drug culture.

That sentiment is also carried to medications.

So my parents are from one of these countries that was under british colonialism

Fast forward to modern day:

And I'm dealing with depression.

And I want antidepressants.

But my parents treat antidepressants as like a drug addiction.

So um...

British Colonialism is making me look like a brain damaged drug addict for seeking relief by trying to get antidepressant medication.

Thanks a lot, Queen Victoria, what a bitch lol.

The aftermath of Reagan's tax and economic policies have now impoverished multiple generations of Americans and helped to create 700 or so billionaires.

I will end up working many years longer than I should have to in order to retire comfortably thanks to that motherfucker.
