I remember learning about the Nazi holocaust in secondary school. I don’t know if it was said explicitly or if I interpreted it this way, but I thought humanity could go no lower. I also thought it would never happen again. It’s over 20 months into this genocide, with many creative methods, savoured enthusiastically by gleeful faces of Israeli citizens serving in their army.
Sorry to break it to you but, this genocide has been ongoing for nearly 80 years. They've just ramped up the intensity because the global right-wing loves genocide and is preventing any consequences.
