- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Ukraine should strip her of her passport and bar her from ever setting foot in the country.
To become a us citizen you have to renounce your other citizenships. So unless she later became a Ukraine citizen again, she no longer is.
Edit: It appears I am wrong about this. I've heard it several times before though.
You can't have more than 2,but you can have dual citizenship.
Take a moment and reflect on this post. Is there anything else somebody told you and you repeat it without asking "is this true?"
Yes, I'm clearly a horrible monster for believing something I've heard several places. No other person alive could ever have committed such atrocities, and I need a lecture from someone who has certainly never done something like this.
lol reflection isn't some punishment for murderers, its something everybody should do as a type of mental exercise. No need to be dramatic.
I'm not sure you are wrong. I've seen a room full of people recite the oath of allegiance. I don't know if it's legally binding or not, but it absolutely looks like a renoucement to me.
well as long as you heard something several times
When you become a naturalized citizen of the US you have to renounce your allegiance to other countries, but you don't have to give up your other citizenship.
To address your edit, some other countries only allow single citizenship. So if they get US citizenship, they are required to renounce their previous citizenship by their former government.
Interesting. Thank you.
Well that's just blatantly false.
Dunno who told you this, but it isn't true.
