Yeah, I was 22 years old when my mother sat me down for "the talk", and even then, it only consisted of "don't go to bed with someone". LITERALLY nothing more than that. I just looked at her cockeyed and told her she was pretty late for this talk. And of course the talk itself was just so sub par.
Lol, my dad did way tf after school covered it. Probably like age 14 or so. He goes "raiderkev, u know about chicks n shit right?"
"What do you mean dad?"
"You know, like sex n shit"
"Yeah dad, we've had sex Ed the last like 2 years, and we've also had the Internet on our computer since before that. "
"Ok, good. You know, be safe and stuff"
A for effort I guess. Thanks Dad!
I hope you're right, but my experience, albeit a decade earlier, was very similar to the above.
I'm glad my mom handed me the puberty book and walked away. Jesus christ I would have flashbacks to that experience until I die.
