Rules

1. Be niceDo not make personal attacks against each other, call for violence against anyone, or intentionally antagonize people in the comment sections.

2. Explain incorrect defense articles and takes

If you want to post a non-credible take, it must be from a "credible" source (news article, politician, or military leader) and must have a comment laying out exactly why it's non-credible. Low-hanging fruit such as random Twitter and YouTube comments belong in the Matrix chat.

3. Content must be relevant

Posts must be about military hardware or international security/defense. This is not the page to fawn over Youtube personalities, simp over political leaders, or discuss other areas of international policy.

4. No racism / hatespeech

No slurs. No advocating for the killing of people or insulting them based on physical, religious, or ideological traits.

5. No politics

We don't care if you're Republican, Democrat, Socialist, Stalinist, Baathist, or some other hot mess. Leave it at the door. This applies to comments as well.

6. No seriousposting

We don't want your uncut war footage, fundraisers, credible news articles, or other such things. The world is already serious enough as it is.

7. No classified material

Classified ‘western’ information is off limits regardless of how "open source" and "easy to find" it is.

8. Source artwork

If you use somebody's art in your post or as your post, the OP must provide a direct link to the art's source in the comment section, or a good reason why this was not possible (such as the artist deleting their account). The source should be a place that the artist themselves uploaded the art. A booru is not a source. A watermark is not a source.

9. No low-effort posts

No egregiously low effort posts. E.g. screenshots, recent reposts, simple reaction & template memes, and images with the punchline in the title. Put these in weekly Matrix chat instead.

10. Don't get us banned

No brigading or harassing other communities. Do not post memes with a "haha people that I hate died… haha" punchline or violating the sh.itjust.works rules (below). This includes content illegal in Canada.

11. No misinformation

NCD exists to make fun of misinformation, not to spread it. Make outlandish claims, but if your take doesn’t show signs of satire or exaggeration it will be removed. Misleading content may result in a ban. Regardless of source, don’t post obvious propaganda or fake news. Double-check facts and don't be an idiot.

I've tried to translate it with Google, don't know if that's correct:

It is a Leopard 1 tank with a combat weight of 42 tons that landed on its head in the ditch along Viborgvej a little east of Skave on Friday.

Along with the tank - and also upside down - is the truck with trailer that should have transported the tank from Holstebro Kaserne to Aalborg.

The tank belongs to Aalborg Kaserner's Veteran Armored and Vehicle Association and has been in Holstebro, where it has been used for instructor training by Ukrainians.

On the way back to Aalborg, the truck was caught in a soft slope, and therefore Friday's working day has become quite a bit longer for Jens Martin Deitz, who is chairman of the Aalborg Barracks Veteran Armored and Vehicle Association.

We will start salvaging the tank at 10pm tonight, and then it will be shipped home to Aalborg, he says.

A mission he expects will take a few hours, during which Viborgvej will be closed at both ends. It will therefore not be possible for curious people to follow the rescue on site either.

The plan is for the truck and tank to be pulled apart first. Next, the truck must first be tipped around, and then the tank must be lifted onto a new semi-trailer.

There will be two recovery vehicles and a crane that will do the heavy work.

Due to the clean-up work, the Road Directorate is already calling for the speed limit to be reduced on Viborgvej east of Skave.

Also, there is another article providing an actual explanation of what happened:

A 42-tonne heavy tank is together with a truck and tows the land upside down east of Skave.

It happened on Friday morning during a transport from Holstebro Barracks to Aalborg.

TV MIDTVEST's reporter on the scene has spoken to the driver of the truck, who says that he was driving at 60 km/h when he pulled to the side on Viborgvej to make way for an overtaking truck.

In this connection, a set of wheels was caught by the very soft slope, and the trailer dragged further and further into the ditch, says the driver, who is very affected by the incident.

The encounter with the very soft rebate caused both tank, trailer and truck to topple over.

The driver says that he is safe after the accident.

I'd say, when 42 tonnes are pulling you back wanting to roll you over in the process, it appears you can only do so much. It's good that the driver is not injured, at least

That's pretty spot on.
