What about Israel, a country that literally executes an entire nation of people, the Palestinians?
Israel is terrible, but that doesn't mean you need to throw support behind the ayatollah, who is also a cunt. Best case scenario is that netanyahu and khamenei both get assassinated along with their cabinets and the bullshit can stop for a while.
Thank you! For legal reasons I only joke about the assassination of people in this lovely meme community, but this is an unironic both sides suck and we shouldn't cheer on either situation.

As I've said in other responses, I wasn't sure if OP supported Israel by questioning Iran supporters, or if OP supported neither party.
I think the Israeli and Iranian governments need to end so their people and the Palestinians can live in peace. I believe that Israel has subjected more death and suffering to the Palestinians that Iran has to its citizenry.
My goal right now is to fight against Israel propaganda because THEY are the primary instigator of violence in Southwest Asia: to the Palestinians, to the Lebanese, to the Syrians, and now to the Iranians.
What about not cheering for either one? Or just fuckin stop with the immediate what abouts?
What about this post then? Why didn't OP take that stance when making this post? Why are you just not directing your whataboutism at me?
"You shouldn't be cheering either of them" is the whole point of the post. If I saw people suddenly being pro-Israel, the meme would be about them. I only saw people cheering Iran, hence the meme.
Dissenting against supporters of Iran doesn't automatically assume the position of dissenters against Israel. Supporters of Israel could also share that sentiment.
Let's not forget that Israel fired at Iran first this go around
The Israel stans are gone buddy, at least from the places I personally frequent. Iran stans are present and accounted for, see how controversial this post has become.
If I saw people suddenly become pro-Israel and start full throatedly defend that country, the meme I posted would reflect that.
Point me at these "Iran stans" please. All I see are people that make a distinction between the genocidal supremacist colonial apartheid regime and a repressive theocratic dictatorship (which lest we forget got power thanks to US meddling) that for all its flaws is helping the resistance against a genocide and people whose analysis starts and stops at "both sides bad".
And just like that they disappeared to not answer. And if they do it will be with someone they antagonized into saying what they want to prove to themselves their point.
They just wanted to fight against people they thought was morally justified and made a post to make them come to them to do so.
