I do not understand why people take her work seriously.
she had a couple good videos a long time ago. she should watch her own video about "the west" being kinda fake
Same as why people listen to Briana Wu, they got lucky on a specific period of American culture
She's basically just a New Yorker op-ed writer but aggressively leaning into queer theater kid aesthetics, which really flatters the sensibilities of some people who want to find a way to call it progressive and trendy to support Democrats
couldnt say really. idk if anyone even does anymore. i havent watched one of her videos since whenever the “decoding the alt right” era was. she started making 2-3hr long videos about stuff i personally dont care about and then when i see her takes when she doesnt have someone else writing her scripts it just made me never even care to look at her channel again
