Today I visited the centrelink office for the first time in 18 years. I walked in and froze. It's changed so much and it's quiet which was a contrast to the last time when some cunt was having a melt down, throwing chairs and punches and the cops were called.
Instantly thought of the old centrelink in fitzroy
I think they prefer us to do everything on line now
medicare is the same, they do not like walk ins

I've rarely had a good experience with gov admin the past few years
I've never had a problem with them but I'm not a frequent flyer.
It was meltdowns and yelling or people crying back in the day at my local one
Yes! I remember it as a combo of an airport waiting lounge and a rough pub.
